Bayelsa Governor Duoye Diri has banned hosts of FCT Minister Nyesom Wike anywhere in the state.
A certain George Turner announced plans to host Vick in the state, the governor said at a security press conference Friday, March 28.
The governor said;
“People in this state, especially a George Turner, are threatening peace in this country. Recently, there was a Facebook report that his phone number will be held in Bayelsa’s FCT Minister. The minister is not from Bielsa State. This is not FCT. This is the state of Bayelsa. All service commanders should be vigilant. This meeting must not be held in the state of Bayelsa. He can receive the minister anywhere outside the state of Bayelsa.
I further direct that no one shall use any public place or school unless approved by the state government. ”
Wike and Diri have been political enemies for the longest time.
