Nollywood actress Bamike Olawunmi-Adenibuyan (Bambam is known to have an encounter with Nigerian police officers who recently had a meeting with one of the Nigerian police officers who stopped her.
When police accused her of “inappropriate and powerful” police asking her to show him “love”, the BBNAIJA star tells how she was “forced to give.”
She added that citizens should feel safe and not feel uncomfortable when they see the police.
She wrote: “Just wrapped up from the movie and went home, Nigerian police stopped us for no reason – forcing us to step down just to start begging for money. What kind of nonsense is this? What would they do if we refused?
“He was a little inappropriate and powerful. I came down and greeted him and he asked if I was okay and I said I was fine and just tired. He said “Tell me love now” He could have asked from the window, but my assistant and I fell down and we couldn’t drive, so I was forced to give me something.
“We shouldn’t see the police, feeling uncomfortable but safe. Asking and asking are two things. There are two different things. There are funds and tips because they are respectful and actually being at work are two things.”
