The best-selling German novelist was shot dead in a violent attack on the boathouse where she lives. The skeleton of the closet author found Alexandra Frhlich, 58, on a long Serris houseboat on the banks of the Horschaffen River in Hamburg earlier Tuesday, April 22. Officials said her son found the mother of three. After assessing traces and evidence, investigative authorities now believe the woman died of violence, a police spokesman told local media that the local murder squad was handling the case. Police told the media that it is believed that Frhlich had D sometime between midnight and 5:30! According to media reports, investigators have called on witnesses to see suspicious activity around the boathouse, but have not said whether the suspect has been identified.
