Nollywood star Bimbo Ademoye has announced plans to sponsor an in vitro fertilization (IVF) surgery for one of her female fans as part of her 35th birthday celebrations.
The actress shared the news in a video posted on her Instagram page on Friday, February 6, 2026. She explained that beneficiaries will be selected from the comments section of the post, but the final decision will not be made by her personally.
Ademoye said she came up with the idea after fans contacted her several times to ask why she did not take her usual birthday photos. According to her, she felt exhausted from photo shoots this year and chose to make a more impactful move by helping women facing fertility challenges.
Speaking about her journey, the actress revealed that she swore to God that her film “Broken Hallelujah” would reach at least 20 million views on YouTube. The film, due out in April 2025, tells the story of a married couple who suffers from infertility, leading to her decision to pledge to fund a fan’s IVF treatment.
Although “Broken Hallelujah” failed to reach its target, Ademoye revealed that another film released in 2025, “Where’s the Love”, later surpassed the 20 million views mark. She admits she was initially disappointed but thankfully another love-themed project finally came true.
Now celebrating her birthday and milestone, the actress confirmed she is ready to make good on her promise to sponsor IVF treatments in the coming days.
She captioned the video: “Someone you know may benefit from this. Please be sure to watch until the end. Thank you all for the love. I hope whoever wins the surgery will be successful. Congratulations in advance.”

@dnf_kidsthrift: “My kids’ principal at school would be so grateful 😢😢 She’s almost 40 and has been married for over 10 years 😢. It means the world to her. And she lives in Lagos too 👏 Thanks mom.”

@teefeh_05: “Please, I humbly ask you to consider my sister’s blessing 🙏 She is in her 40s and the first daughter in a family of five girls. My parents had me when they were older so she actually became my mother, she trained me in school, gave me an allowance, paid her rent and my parents’ rent and still uses her A meager salary to support them. She once tried to start IVF but had to stop because the bills were too heavy. After finishing my family responsibilities, I had nothing left to save and I was doing my best to avoid unnecessary expenses and support myself, but it was still not enough to pay for something as big as IVF, which meant everything to her and our family ❤️.
@titilayoayobami: “I am nominating my dear friend who was married before me and I even have kids, I hope you will choose her to put a smile on her face and hope in her life. I don’t want to tag her but can provide her details in your private message.”
Oh, God of gods! ! ! If this is where 7 years of @stylebyirecouture’s prayers are answered 🙌 Let her be the winner 🙏🏻 There’s nothing you can’t do Olorun 🙏🏻 Prove you are God on @stylebyirecouture

I don’t know you personally but I remember reading your review of Broken Hallelujah on Facebook and I had to run and see the movie. I have been praying for you ever since and I sincerely pray that this will be pleasing to the Lord. ❤️.”
@vivianjenje: “Congratulations sister, I nominate my sister @tinatarfa who for the past 21 years has believed in God to bear a child in the womb. I pray and hope that this favor will be upon her. God bless you.”
