Bishop David Abioye, a famous pastor of the former Church of Life Faith (also known as the Church of Winners), opened his own church.
Recently, Abioye, after retired from his post in the Church of Living Faith under Bishop David Oyedepo, announced that his church will now hold Sunday morning services.
In October 2024, Abioye, along with Thomas Aremu, retired from a living faith, and brought the mandatory retirement age of church leaders to 55 years old.

Bishop Abioi said his new ministry was born out of divine missions rather than personal ambitions. After retirement, he began holding non-sectarian services on Sunday evenings, encouraging members to focus on individual revivals as the basis for a broader corporate renewal.
At the end of the scholarship on April 27, Bishop Abioi shared that his ministry will now be transferred from 8 a.m. to Sunday morning services.
He said: “A very important message. From the next Sunday, our service is moving to the morning. Hallelujah. It’s 8 a.m. God bless you to bless you in the name of Jesus.”
