    Bishop TD Jakes

Bishop TD Jacks posted a video on social media thanking all those who prayed for him and sent messages following a health scare at church on Sunday.

Bishop TD Jacks suffered a health scare while preaching at the Potter House megachurch on Sunday, initially sparking fears of a potential stroke. During his hour-long sermon, Bishop TD Jacks suddenly dropped the microphone and began shaking. People quickly rushed onto the stage, surrounded him, and offered assistance.

However, a later update confirmed that the incident was not related to a stroke.

He has been discharged from the hospital and is on his way home, thanking the community for their prayers and support.

Here is his thank you letter:

It is an extraordinary privilege to serve God’s people, and Sunday was no exception as I did my best to deliver the message God had placed on my heart. Even as I realize the weight of my humanity and overcome obstacles, I am still reminded that even the strongest of us must rely on His strength.

Thank the Lord I didn’t have a stroke, but without God’s intervention this could have been fatal. Special thanks go to God and our city’s medical professionals for their speed and expertise. My job is to recover and reflect on God’s protection.

Thank you to my family and church members for allowing me to rest and reflect as He restores me to serve Him. When God calls us to keep the Sabbath, I am reminded that rest is not a weakness, but a divine gift. I am in awe of my family and the strong leadership team that surrounds me as I continue to be strengthened by His grace.

Together we press forward, steadfast in completing the work the Lord has set before us. I’ve heard from friends in the international community who have expressed God’s love in surprising ways! There was no doubt about God’s faithfulness to all present. I am forever humbled by the outpouring of love and support you have received.

I will always give my best. May his presence continue to guide and support you and provide peace and protection to you all.
