- Gay rights activist Bisi Alimi has mocked Nigerian pastors and evangelical preachers, questioning why many who claim to fight the devil end up dead while evil continues to flourish.
- In a post on Instagram, he suggested that either the priest is fake or the devil doesn’t exist. His comments sparked widespread debate online about hypocrisy in religion and ministry.

Gay rights activist Bisi Alimi has lashed out at Nigerian pastors and evangelical preachers, mocking them over the deaths of several pastors who he said claimed to be fighting the devil for years.
In a post shared on Instagram, Alimi questioned why these pastors and evangelists, who have gone through decades of spiritual warfare and failed to successfully defeat the devil, are dying while evil still exists.
This situation, he argued, raised two possibilities—either the priests were not sincere, or the devil they claimed to be fighting did not exist.
Alimi’s post has since sparked reactions online, with many debating his views on religion and spirituality.

In other news… A heated discussion erupted on X (formerly Twitter) after a user questioned why some women give up wealthy lives abroad and return home because of relationships.
User @Ooreoluwaaaa sparked the debate, asking:
“How did you leave Toronto, Canada, and go back to Iwo Jima with the men? Are you okay?”
In response, @Steadi_Lady (Oiza) shared a personal story about a woman she knows who made a similar decision.
“A woman I know left her business school in France and returned to Akure because a man forced her to choose between him and her life there. I can’t even begin to describe how difficult it has been for her since then,”he wrote.
Another user, @Rene_noire, also made a scathing comment:
“Let me guess, she is in her thirties?”
Oza confirmed,
“Yes. It’s a long story.”
The exchange reignited discussions about the sacrifices women make in relationships, especially when choosing between love and career advancement abroad.
