
The bodies of 14 mourners have been restored after suspected Boko Haram terrorists attacked Kwaple village in Chibok local government area of Borno State.
lib Report The Chibok attack took place on Monday, April 28, just seven hours after dozens of motorists and passengers were killed while others were injured, and injured along Gamboru Ngala -Kala Balge Road, when they were riding in a vehicle that crashed while terrorists were riding in an improvised explosive device (IED).
The terrorists also set up a church and more than 10 residences.
The Council Chairman Chibok Community Attack was confirmed. Modu Mustapha said the incident happened around 6 p.m. when terrorists landed on some mourners who gathered to pray for a loved one last week on their final day.
He added that many victims injured in the attack were evacuated to the nearby Mubi General Hospital in Adamawa State for treatment, stressing that casualties could be higher as communities conduct searches and rescues ahead of mass burials of the dead.
In response to the new Boko Haram attack, especially in the southern Borno Senate District, Senator Mohammed Ali Ndume described the situation as a pathetic human imagination
He added that he received a call in distress that more than 10 vigilant people were kidnapped in a community between the Hall local government area in Borno State and the town of Galkada in Adamawa State!
“My people suffered severe casualties and no confrontation. Last month, more than a hundred people conducted several coordinated attacks in Sabon Gari, Izge, Kirawa, Kirawa, Pulka, Damboa, Chibok, Chibok, chira uba, sukeira uba and too many people.”
