President Bola Tinubu has signed a bill of OKERENKOKO for Nigeria Maritime University.
This was revealed by Julius Pondi, a member of the House of Representatives internal constituencies of the House of Representatives on Monday.

The Nigeria Maritime University was established in 2018 and is the first quasi -military university and maritime college in Nigeria and West Africa.
The Nigerian University Committee (NUC) awarded the approval of the agency in February 2018.
In 2021, there were rumors that the agency was closed for not paying wages and poverty benefits.
However, the report was rejected by Alfred Mulade, the registered officer of the agency.
The registered service provider describes this information as fake news and reiterates the opening of the school for academic activities.
