Ibokette Ibas, the only administrator in Rivers State, arrived at the Rivers State Government Building today on March 20, 2025.
After being sworn in by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu on Wednesday, the sole executive is expected to perform his duties despite severe criticism.
He was reportedly arriving at Port Harcourt International Airport at 11:25 a.m. yesterday and was received by senior officials and security personnel.

Today, Deputy Admiral IBA was accompanied by the State Police Chief Olugbenga Adepoju and the Assistant Inspector General of the District 16 Police Department.
He immediately organized a closed door meeting with some senior security officials, federal representatives and state officials.
