CBN has completed 16 new appointments.
Nigeria News Nalin The report said that the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) has appointed 16 directors to take effect on March 3.
These appointments are said to strengthen the operations of Capita Bank through many policy-driven, regulatory and supervisory capabilities.
Directors are Jide-Samuel Avbasowamen, Director of Information Technology; Abdullahi Hamisu, Director of Banking Services; Ojumu Adenike, Director of Medical Services; and Makinde Olanrewaju, Director of Procurement and Support Services.
In the financial sector, CBN appointed Sike Ijeoma as the financial policy and regulatory department; Isa-Olatinwo Aisha, director of consumer protection, and Oboh Victor Ugbem, director of monetary policy.
In addition, Nakorji Musa will lead the trade and exchange department; Yusuf Rakiya will lead the payment system supervision department; Vincent Modesola will be appointed to oversee the strategic management and innovation department; Farouk Muhammad will lead the reserve management department; Akinwunmi Olubukola Akinniyi will be responsible for the banking supervision department.
In addition, Solaja Mohammed-Jamiu will be in charge of the Oversight Department of Other Financial Institutions (OFISD); Hassan Umar will lead the Development and Financial Institution Supervision Department; Addeji Adetona will guide the monetary operations and branch management departments.
In addition, Okpanachi Moses will serve as head of the Bureau of Statistics.
