The Chief of Staff and other senior government officials have been suspended.
Nigeria News Nalin Niger State Governor Mohammed Umaru Bago reportedly suspended the government of three senior officials due to poor performance.
Those affected include his chief of staff, Abdullahi Usman Gbatamagi; Abdullahi Yerima, Director-General of the Agreement; and the main details.
The decision was announced at the State Council meeting held at the Minna Government Building.
The suspension that takes effect immediately will last for a month.
The governor directed the state government secretary Alhaji Abubakar Usman to send official letters to suspended officials.
Sources said the move was surprising as suspended aides recently accompanied the governor to Lagos and Abuja.
However, the government has not issued an official statement on this situation.
