His promoter Ben Shalom updated his fans on X and said “According to the advice of the doctor on the scene, Chris Eubank Jr. was taken to the hospital by ambulance for preventive examination.”
During the game, Eubank Jr. suffered a major cut above his right eye and showed signs of fatigue, which caused Benn to raise concerns about the possibility of a broken chin.
However, in an interview with BoxXer, Jr’s promoter said, “The rumor about the jawbone makes no sense.
“I’m happy to confirm that Chris is doing well and is currently taking a break.”
Family support has been strong during this time, with Chris Eubank Sr. and other relatives on their guard beside their son’s bed.
