The Hollywood family officially became parents-in-law, with actor Martin Lawrence’s daughter Jasmin Lawrence and comedy legend Eddie Murphy’s son Eric Murphy recently married at a secret wedding.
Murphy shared that while both families were initially preparing for a grand wedding, Eric and Jasmin finally chose a low-key celebration of their love. The actor joked that Martin Lawrence might be relieved because the long-standing playful debate between the two friends was the decision of the couple to make the wedding payment.
Jasmin Lawrence’s mother is former beauty queen Patricia Southall, and Eric Murphy, son of Eddie Murphy and Paulette McNeely, announced their engagement the day before Thanksgiving, three years after dating last year.
