Tracy Morgan caused a major delay in Monday night’s Knicks after New York had an unexpected medical incident with the Miami Heat of Madison Square Garden in the first half. The comedian, who sat next to the court, suddenly fell ill and vomited near his seat, some of which spilled into the game area.
Images taken by fans of the arena show Morgan’s misery, and the game was paused for several minutes as medical staff rushed to assist the 56-year-old. Morgan was eventually placed in a wheelchair, escorted from the area, obviously unhappy, holding a towel. The audience pointed out that when he was kicked out, blood seemed to come from his nose.
There are no official words about the causes of the medical incident, but the game resumed shortly thereafter. At the pause, the Knicks led the calories by 109-84.
