    Updated: Comedian Tracy Morgan

The comedian revealed in an Instagram post Tuesday morning that Tracy Morgan’s medical emergency in the Knicks game against the Heat was caused by food poisoning.

Morgan explained that the projectile vomiting he experienced at Madison Square Garden was the result of bad food he had eaten earlier that day.

While the cause of food poisoning is not clear, Morgan assured fans that it is not anything more serious. He thanked his fans for their attention, shared his photos on the hospital bed, and expressed his gratitude to the MSG staff who assisted him during the incident. “I’m doing a great job now, and the doctor said it’s my MSG family because I have to take good care of me and I need to speak out.

In typical Morgan style, he added a sense of humor to the situation, joked: “More importantly, when I threw it on the court, the Knicks are now 1-0, so maybe I have to knock it out again in the playoffs #Goknicks.”

The incident happened in the first half of the game when Morgan suddenly fell ill while sitting next to the court. The competition was postponed for several minutes when medical staff participated in his case. Morgan was later sent off the court, with some bystanders reporting they saw his nose bleeding. However, sources close to Morgan confirmed that the reports were inaccurate.

A representative from Madison Square Garden also wanted Morgan to be good and expressed his desire to welcome him back after he recovered. Morgan has faced medical challenges in the past, including diabetes, a kidney transplant in 2010 and injuries in a 2014 car accident.
