    Court imprisonment of two men for stealing poultry, Ogun’s generator

    • Adebanjo Segun, a 21-year-old man, was sentenced to six months in prison by a magistrate’s court in Ogo-iwoye for stealing poultry.

    • The offender was arrested on February 19, 2025, and the investigation showed that he committed a similar crime in December 2024 but was considered the first-time offender.

    • In related developments, a 20-year-old man, Kazeem Tobi, was also sentenced to six months in prison for stealing an Elepaq generator worth about 120,000.

    Sitting in the district court in Ago-iwoye, Ogun State, two men were stolen and sentenced two men to six months in prison respectively.

    Adebanjo Segun, 21, was convicted of stealing birds, while Kazeem Tobi, 20, was convicted of stealing an Elepaq generator worth about 120,000.

    Public relations officers of the commander of the Ogun State of the Nigerian Security and Civil Defense Forces said Segun’s troubles began on February 19, 2025, when he was arrested for stealing a hen.

    Investigations show he committed a similar crime in December 2024, but is considered a first-time offender.

    The statement said: “After discovering his previous crime, he filed a lawsuit in the Ago-iwoye Magistrate Court on February 20, 2025 on the sole charge in Article 430 of the Criminal Law Act of Ogun State, Nigeria on February 20, 2025. , 2006.     Despite political resolutions, Obasa’s lawyers insist on filing a court case

    Mudashiru Obasa, legal team at the Lagos State Capitol, said there was no plan to withdraw the lawsuit to challenge his removal as speaker.

    Obasa’s chief legal counsel, Afolabi Fashanu (SAN), said he prepared for a February 28 court hearing despite a political settlement of the congress crisis.
