

Jew Okoye, the elder brother of Paul Okoye of the already resolved p-square music group, was granted bail for money laundering in the Federal High Court in Lagos.
Northside Music Limited’s CEO Okoye, brought by the Economic and Financial Crime Commission (EFCC) for alleged money laundering, involving 1.38 billion guilds, 1 million US dollars and 34,537.59 pounds. In the allegations, the EFCC accused Okoye and his music tag of obtaining landing property worth 550 million guilds in Ikoyi, Lagos in 2022, Tony Eromosele Street, Tony Eromosele Street, knowing or having reasonable reasons to suspect that these funds are second-hand funds are unavailable for future activities.
Justice Alexander Owoeye was released on bail for the Jewish Okoye with a total of 100 million guilds, with two of them. The court stipulated that one of the guarantors must own land property and prohibited Okoye from traveling abroad to the country pending further litigation.
