
Kano State High Court sentenced housewife Fadila Adamu to D3ath to D3ATH for M8rder, eight-year-old daughter of her childhood friend.

Aisha’s body was found in the well in the dormitory of Gandu Albasa two weeks after her disappearance.
The defendant who lives in the Sabuwar Gandu dormitory Kano was found guilty of kidnapping and charges.
Judicial judge Yusuf Muhammad-Ubale made a verdict, ruling that the prosecution had proved no doubt about his case and sentenced the defendant to death.
He ruled: “I hereby sentence the defendant to D3ATH to kidnap and throw the victim into a well, which led to her D3ATH.”
Earlier, prosecutor attorney Lamido Abba-Sorondinki told the court that the defendant committed a crime on July 14, 2019 at Tudun Wada Quarters in Kano.
He said that at about 4:45 pm, the defendant kidnapped the minor and took her to her house.
“The defendant told her sister that the deceased was her friend’s daughter and that her mother went to Ghana and asked her to keep the child until she returned.
He said: “On July 17, 2019, at about 6:30 pm, the defendant threw her into the depths of the Tukuntawa dormitory in Kano, resulting in the death of the minor.”
Mr. Abba-Sorondinki introduced seven witnesses, defendant’s statements and medical reports, confirming the victim’s D3ATH.
The prosecutor said the crime violated Articles 274 (b) and 221 (a) of the Criminal Code.
The defendant denied the crime.
Defense attorney Zulaihat Tata introduced four witnesses, including the defendant, to testify in the defense.
