Superstar football player Cristiano Ronaldo announced his career away from the stadium.
Portuguese footballer is currently putting it into practice for Ronaldo, 40, the Saudi professional league team Al-Nassr, and is opening a new commercial enterprise. This will lead him to work with Matthew Vaughn, 54, a producer of locks, stocks and two smoking barrels, and director of gangster movies such as Snatch and Layer Cake.
The collaboration between Ronaldo and Vaughn will allow them to launch a brand called Ur Marv, an independent film studio that will focus on “embracing innovative technologies with a tribute to tradition.”
A statement on Ronaldo’s official account (formerly Twitter) said: “Cristiano Ronaldo loves movies; Matthew Vaughn loves sports – they both love a good story.
“Both are destructive champions in their competition and will now be honored by launching the launch of Ur Marv, an independent joint venture film studio Ur Marv, a tribute to tradition.”
Vaughan also said: “Cristiano created the story in stories I can never write and I look forward to making inspiring movies with him – he is a real-life superhero.”
