A family member of a cryptocurrency boss nearly escaped the kidnapping on Tuesday morning, May 12 in Paris.
The cold footage reveals three men whose faces are hidden in an attempt to tie a woman to a van around 8:20 a.m. The woman’s partner helps save her, while the possible kidnappers escape their van.
Police said the unnamed 34-year-old victim was accompanied by her two-year-old child. However, it is not clear how young children can try to escape capture.
Seeing a man intervene in horror, but a shocking scene unfolds in the eyes of many passers-by, most of whom were not involved despite the screams of the victims.
The attacker appeared to have lost a pistol, whether it was unclear or fake, and eventually rushed to escape and drove into the back of the van.
The vehicle was found on a street in the same area. According to media reports, the mother who evaded kidnapping is the daughter of the CEO of the cryptocurrency procurement platform.
The Paris Attorney’s Office has requested the Anti-Company Brigade to investigate.
