Dangote refinery has added a new oil marketer to its lineup.

Nigeria News Nalin PTIMA Energy has become the latest oil marketer, directly from the Dangote Petroleum refinery, derived from PMS, commonly known as gasoline PMS, the report said.

This development strengthens the continuous growth of refineries in the downstream sector of Nigeria and further diversifies the distribution of their refined products.

By ensuring direct access to Dangote’s state-of-the-art facilities, PTIMA Energy has joined established marketers such as MRS, Ardova and Heyden, indicating a significant change in the country’s fuel supply chain.

As more marketers choose to boost gasoline locally, Nigeria’s reliance on imported fuel is gradually decreasing, reducing risks associated with supply disruptions and foreign exchange fluctuations.

Procurement of fuel directly from the Dangote refinery provides marketers with a consistent and reliable supply to ensure uninterrupted operations and improved market stability. In addition, the competitive pricing strategy of the refinery, coupled with its focus on high-quality refined products, gives marketers a unique advantage that allows them to provide cost-effective fuel options while improving engine performance and environmental sustainability.

The latest pricing data shared by the Dangote refinery highlights a region-specific approach, with gasoline retailing at N860 per liter in Lagos, N870 in the southwest, N880 in the north and N890 in the north and southeast and southeast. This structured pricing model is designed to adapt to different market dynamics across the country.

As more companies integrate Dangote’s refined products into their supply chains, Nigeria will be closer to achieving energy self-sufficiency. The refinery’s massive production capacity will reshape the U.S. fuel landscape, ensuring a steady supply of consumers, while promoting local content and reducing reliance on imported petroleum products.

In addition, refineries’ commitment to quality and environmental responsibility is aligned with global efforts in clean energy solutions. A growing number of marketers are demonstrating the strategic importance of refineries in changing the oil and gas industry in Nigeria directly from Dangote’s list of marketers.
