The Dangote refinery further collapsed gasoline prices across Nigeria.
Nigeria News Nalin The Dangot Oil Refinery announced on Wednesday that it had lowered the price of the premium car spirit’s front (gantry) price, PMS (commonly called gasoline, N65.00).
This means the price will take effect from Thursday, February 27, 2025, and the price will drop from N890 to N825.
According to Dangote, the adjustment is intended to provide the necessary relief to Nigerians before Ramadan.
With the latest reductions, refinery management said Nigerians will be able to buy Dangote gasoline at the following prices at all partner retail stores:
“For Mrs. Holdings, it will be sold at N860 per liter, N870 in the southwest, N880 in the north, N880 in the south and southeast, respectively, at N890 per liter, respectively,” a statement.
This is the second time that PMS price has dropped in February 2025, after which N60.00 has dropped earlier this month.
In December 2024, the refinery lowered the price of PMS by N70.50, from N970 to N899.50 per liter.
