Nigerian pop musician Davido reached a new milestone as his songs gained new recognition.
Davido’s Kante has been added to an exclusive music list dedicated to King Charles III of England.
Kante was released in 2023 and features favorites as the album Senseless.
It was also nominated for the 2024 Grammy Awards.
With music talent everywhere in the Commonwealth has been recognized, this increase is in the 2025th day of the Commonwealth celebration.
The music list is curated by the Monarch and consists of artists such as Bob Marley, Kylie Minogue, Grace Jones, Raye and Davido.
King Charles said;
Music means a lot to me throughout my life. I know many others are the same. It has excellent power to allow the deepest depressions in our memory to comfort us from sad times and take us to faraway places, thus flooding the deepest memories of our memory.
“But, most importantly, music can lift our spirit to a certain extent, especially when it brings us to celebrate. In other words, it brings us joy. It seems like a fun and innovative celebration of this year’s Commonwealth Day.. ”

He said of songs including Davido.
“It also features lyrics from Pidgin, I like all forms, and on my last visit to Nigeria, I tried to give a speech. Thanks to Afrobeats, it has become more and more popular around the world”
