On Wednesday morning, February 5, a Japanese Airlines slid on the apron at Seattle-Tacoma Airport and ran into a parked Delta Airlines.
No one was reportedly injured despite the damage to the plane.
The accident occurred at 10:17 a.m., and the airport announced on X that the taxi plane’s wing hit the tail of the parked tripod plane.

Photos of the apron posted by travelers on social media show Japan Airlines’ wings sliced half of the tail of the tripod plane into thin slices.
“So we were sitting on the tarmac in Seatac and another plane hit us and just cut it into thin slices,” one passenger wrote on social media.
“Hint. It’s scary. Now get checked,” they added.
The airport said the incident had a “small impact” on airport operations.
Tensions at airports across the country remained high after a pair of horrible accidents, and the collision occurred.
Just a week ago, 67 people were Ked when a U.S. Army helicopter collided with a U.S. Airlines jet when it landed at Reagan National Airport!
Two days later, in Philadelphia, an ambulance, with six people falling onto a busy street and exploded – k!
