Agbor’s Delta State College of Nursing Sciences issued a statement asking a student about a video of Tiktok in which a nursing student refused to ask First Lady Remi Tinubu to be a mother.
On March 25, during the first lady’s visit to the agency, MC sang a song referring to Senator Remi Tinubu as “our mom,” but the students refused to ask her, instead calling her “your mom.”
The school now sends inquiries to students who post Tiktok videos.
The Nursing College accused the student of committing a “punishable crime,” according to a letter circulated online.
The inquiry released by the college’s provost requires students to write a letter within 24 hours explaining why they should not face disciplinary action.
