A tragic incident occurred in the Mpape area of the federal capital area on Friday night, in which some unidentified gunmen kidnapped a Nigerian naval officer who was affiliated with the Ministry of Defense.
The abducted officer was identified as Lieutenant Cynthia Aker. She kidnapped with two other people at her residence in Abuja.
According to reports, Nigeria Daily Report reports that the kidnappers demanded a ransom of 100 million for the victims.

Although the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Police Command has not confirmed the incident, valid sources who hope to be anonymous revealed that one of the three people kidnapped in the Mpape area on Friday night was Cynthia Akor.
Working is currently in progress with Major General Markus Kangye, Director of Defense Media Action and Brig, Director of Defense Information. General Tukur Gusau has not made any statements regarding the kidnapper.
