Diana Ross won the victory after 22 years off, returning to Met Gala and attracted attendees with a breathtaking ensemble and paid tribute to her family.
The 81-year-old music icon wore a custom white gown decorated with crystals and beads, including an extraordinary 18-foot train. The train embroidered with the names of five children, namely Rhonda, Tracee, Chudney, Ross and Evan, as well as her eight grandchildren – Raif, Callaway, Everlee, Everlee, Leif, Indigo, Jagger, Jagger, Bronx and Ziggy.
This heartfelt creation is a collaborative effort between Ross, son Evan Ross and Nigerian designer Ugo Mozie. The band’s feathery draped in a shawl and a matching oversized hat ended, reflecting the theme of the night, “Super Elf: Cut Black Style.”
Ross’s appearance is both a fashion statement and a personal tribute, seamlessly blending elegance with the heritage of celebrating the family.
