The main discovery of research
Studies have shown that 55 % of Nigerian companies have adopted a complete on -site working model, while 31 % of Nigerian companies operate in hybrid power settings, and the remaining 14 % of their characters are completely far away. Most remote characters are held by individual contributors, with limited collaborative requirements, and hybrid workers are facing major obstacles in maintaining effective communication.
The survey also shows that 51 % of employees use 1-5 applications every day, 35 % of 6-10 applications, and 14 % of applications rely on 10 applications. Senior managers have high applications, 81 % of the C kit employees use more than 10 applications, while 72 % of primary employees use 1-5 applications. The most commonly used tools are productivity and collaboration (68 %), followed by project management (47 %), commercial intelligence (47 %) and accounting (43 %). Although the applications are widely used, only 50 % of the respondents track their tasks from a unified perspective, and have a higher adoption rate in C-Suite (78 %) and senior leadership (63 %).
Productivity challenges and opportunities
For Nigeria’s labor force, the biggest cooperation challenge is the wifi/data connection difference (80 %) of cross -population statistics. This indicates a solution that requires an offline mode and can play a role in lower data connections.
Other collaborative challenges are digital fatigue (54 %), and information is distributed in too many applications (45 %). For middle -level managers, after the bad WiFi, the second major challenge is to communicate with employees in remote or mixed settings. According to the respondents, the most effective way to improve Nigerian workplace productivity is to enable the necessary information (78 %) from different applications, and then use AI (72 %) (72 %), and from in business applications (55 %).
The demand for a unified collaboration platform that can integrate to an existing software ecosystem is clear. This solution not only helps reduce the time spent to complete the work, but also reduce digital fatigue, because people do not have to take into account multiple applications.
Economic prospect
According to the survey, 51 % of the respondents said that their organization used new technologies to prepare for economic challenges. Those who say that their company adopts new technologies for the company’s ability to deal with competition (4 of 5 points) is more active than those who say that the company does not use new technologies (rated 5 points.). However, to a large extent, interviewees believe that their company is ready to face economic challenges (57 %).
In fact, according to the results of the survey, the slow adoption of emerging technologies such as AI has become the most important factor that hinders its leading ability in a rapidly developing market, of which 46 % of them quoted.
