In other news… Content creator Izzy Ogbeide has weighed in on the ongoing controversy involving actress Regina Daniels and her estranged husband, Senator Ned Nwoko.
Regina’s troubles reportedly began when she publicly claimed she was abused in her marital home. The situation escalated when her brother was arrested and later released, while the actress reportedly traveled abroad for her own safety and underwent drug-related testing.
In a video posted on her Instagram page, Ogbede appealed to the Delta State Governor, Sheriff Oborefu Warri, urging him to intervene in the matter. She claims that Ned Nowoko has continued to use his political influence to intimidate and oppress Regina Daniels since she announced her intention to divorce.
Ogbede also alleged that Regina was married before she turned 18, saying the act was unconstitutional under Nigerian law. She insists the actress has been living in pain and insecurity since deciding to end the relationship.
Ogbede questioned whether the senator did not have a constitutional duty to draw attention to him instead of targeting his ex-wife. She further claimed that the 24-year-old actress is currently battling high blood pressure due to a long-standing feud and once again urged the governor to investigate the situation.
Many of Ogbede’s supporters reacted to the video, agreeing with her stance and tagging the governor in the comments section, calling for intervention. Others, however, expressed doubts about the governor’s ability to act, pointing to Nwoko’s strong political influence in the state and claiming that even the sitting governor would seek his support during the election.
