A doctor expressed anger at X’s situation involving a friend.
The doctor explained that her friend went to a very good hospital in Accra, Ghana and started complaining about the pain and then smelled foul.
The foul smell from the woman’s body persisted and recently the doctor left a mat inside her body for a full month.
The new mom’s doctor/friend wrote on X: “I’m really upset. My best friend went to a hospital in Accra for labor, which is a great guy who left the mat for the whole month.
“She has been complaining about the pain and odor for a long time and we have been changing antibiotics and trying different things…
“Just let her discover that today was the reason. I was frustrated. I am a doctor myself, and that’s unforgivable! She could have had toxic shock syndrome!”
