Controversial Nigerian pastor David Ibiyeomie defended himself as he came out to reiterate his previous teachings.
Recall that Ibiyeomie is the general supervisor of the Feast of Salvation, advises people not to associate with the poor and says that Jesus was not poor throughout his life.
To quote him, Jesus hated poverty and avoided connections with the poor.
After a rebound from Nigerians, pastor Abel Damina and even canned Ibiyeomie, the recent sermon insisted that he was right, saying the Holy Spirit affirmed that his statement was right.
He said;
“Some people called me and said the internet was on fire. I was not interested, but out of curiosity, I checked it out. Then I asked the Holy Spirit to tell me if I was wrong and I would reprove.
He pointed out God’s words to me verbatim in the bathroom, and he said, “You are right, you are right.” How do I say? He said, “I committed crimes for humanity, right?” I said yes
He said, “Do you like sin? I said no. He said you can only lead people to Christ, but you can’t be friends with sinners. He said that if believers are mixed with sinners, everyone will get angry. So if believers are mixed with poor people, everyone should get angry.
He said, “I’ve become very poor. So you can be rich. So poverty is not me.”

He said: “You can help the poor, but don’t connect with the poor.” You don’t have money doesn’t mean you’re poor. Poverty is a mentality. He gave me the scriptures. He said: “I paid for sin, poverty and disease.” Why do you refuse sin and accept poverty? Those who refuse to be in poverty who are in line with the Word of God, these three things will never be determined by you. ”
