    • He suggested that social media should not dominate people’s lives.
    • Adebayo shared these insights on The Morayo Show on YouTube.

Nollywood actor and movie producer, Femi Adebayo has advised Nigerians to be cautious about the information they encounter online, stressing that social media should not control anyone’s life.

He shared these thoughts on The Morayo Show on YouTube, hosted by Morayo Afolabi-Brown, where he addressed the discussions surrounding his personal life and the controversies surrounding his previous marriage.

Adebayo noted that choosing to live in the public eye means every detail of one’s life, true or false, can make headlines. He emphasized that being true to one’s conscience and beliefs is far more important than public opinion, and emphasized that being at peace with God and living an upright life should take precedence over what people say online.

While he acknowledged the public’s curiosity about the lives of celebrities, he warned against believing everything posted online, as both accurate and misleading stories spread freely. He illustrates this point with an example of exaggerated reports about his wealth, noting that he claimed to own multiple mansions when at the time he did not own any.

His comments come as his past relationship with Omotayo Sanusi, also known as Iyan Aladuque, comes under renewed scrutiny. Their marriage was celebrated for a time but eventually ended in separation. It was later reported that Sanusi was evicted from a property in Lagos related to his business. Family members clarified that the property was obtained through a bank loan and went into foreclosure due to repayment difficulties, insisting that the eviction was not directly related to Adebayo.

During the interview, Adebayo also talked about his personal brand, emphasizing his commitment to good behavior and ensuring his work does not negatively impact others. He concluded by reminding viewers to be cautious with social media content, noting the prevalence of misinformation.

On a lighter note, when asked about his fashion sense, he described himself as young, stylish and smart, explaining that he dresses according to what suits him and suits each occasion.
