The State Services Department foiled the alleged plot to spark unrest in Worry, Delta State, leading to the arrest of foreign Army specialists and several other people.
Itsekiri Origin’s army officers were allegedly recruited by a Collins to procure weapons and ammunition to fuel tribal tensions in oil-rich areas, according to sources.
During a covert operation near Asaba, Delta State, DSS agents arrested weapons suppliers and captured more than 50 AK-47 rifles, six pump shotguns and more than 3,000 rounds of ammunition. Army Major later intercepted him in Lagos’ DSS agents attempting to cross the Nigerian border to Britain.

DSS has confirmed that all suspects have been detained and will conduct a comprehensive and transparent investigation to keep anyone responsible for conspiring to clash of clans.
