Eastern Mediterranean University Scholarships 2023-2024 are scholarships for international students. This scholarship is available for master’s and doctoral studies. This scholarship offers 100% and 50% scholarships for PhD programmes, and 50% scholarships for Masters programmes.

Scholarship Scope
Eastern Mediterranean University scholarships cover 100% and 50% scholarships for PhD programs and 50% scholarships for Masters programs.
Eligibility Criteria for Eastern Mediterranean University Scholarships
To be eligible for the Eastern Mediterranean University Scholarship, candidates must meet all the following requirements:
- Required language: English
- Eligible countries: All countries in the world
- Each doctoral program can be awarded a 100% or Two 50% Tuition fee scholarships are offered to new international students and Turkish nationals (separately) who hold a bachelor’s degree with a CGPA of at least 3.00 out of 4.00 or equivalent.
- Each master’s program can award one 100% scholarship and two 50% scholarships to Turkish nationals who are admitted to the program for the first time and have a bachelor’s degree with a CGPA of not less than 3.00 out of 4.00 or equivalent or equivalent.
- In addition, a large number of 50% tuition scholarships are provided for international freshmen studying for master’s programs.
- English language requirements: For master’s programs taught in English and for all doctoral programs (English and Turkish), proof of English language proficiency is required. If you do not have a valid English language qualification that meets EMU requirements, your level will be assessed through EMU exams. Based on this assessment, one of the following will apply:
- You will study English courses alongside the postgraduate program.
- You will first study an intensive English course (there are no postgraduate courses) before starting a postgraduate course.
- You will be exempt from the English language support program and start postgraduate study directly.
How to apply for Eastern Mediterranean University Scholarship?
Follow the steps below to get the Eastern Mediterranean University Scholarship:
(1) fill in Application form.
(2) The list of documents required for application is as follows:
- Certified copy of a diploma obtained from a university or equivalent institution (i.e. bachelor’s degree of four years of study). If these documents are in any language other than English, English translations will be required.
- Official transcripts of all college-level (bachelor’s/master’s) courses taken. If the CGPA on the transcript does not exceed 4.00, a comparative score/grade sheet is provided.
- Three letters of recommendation (not required for EMU graduates).
- Provide details of any bursary/scholarship applications you have made (add documents).
- Documentation of English and academic proficiency exam/test scores received. This is not valid for courses where Turkish is the language of instruction. Native speakers should indicate place of birth and citizenship. All others should provide documentation of any one of the following English proficiency tests.
- Please provide details of any bursaries/scholarships (valid for your student status at EMU) that you have received (add documents).
- A copy of your passport or ID card.
- Statement of purpose/intention (please submit on a separate form: the purpose for which you are applying for your chosen course, explaining your motivations and your specialist areas of interest within the subject).
- Project-specific documents: Architecture (PhD and MA): Portfolio.
- One passport size (approximately 6cm x 5cm) photo.
- Proposal (for PhD program applications).
