Professor Sam Onyeagoziri Ndubueze, the governor of the Champions Cathedral, accused a group of local blackmail after condemning their activities.
He said the trouble began after he criticized the Omabe masquerade on the community’s WhatsApp platform. On September 1, 2025, his cell phone was stolen, and a few days later, he received a call for 10 million.
“They told me that if I didn’t comply, they would send me to pack from Abakaliki,” he said.
Not long after, Distored n*de Photos began to be circulated online. He insisted “These photos were taken from a traditional wedding Thanksgiving a few years ago. They used my face to create something completely wrong from my face.”
He said, further clarification: “None of her n*d de photos let me be with her. What is popular online is a manipulation, they only blend my image from her breasts.”
Ndubueze urges security agencies to investigate and prosecute perpetrators.
