Pan Niger Delta Forum Chairman Pandef passed away on Monday night, February 17, according to a statement issued by his family. He is 97 years old.
Statement reading,
“The Clark-Fuludu Bekederemo family in the town of Kiyabodo, Delta State, hopes to announce Chief (Dr) Senator Edwin Kiagbodo Clark ofr, Monday, February 17, 2025, for your prayers. Additional details will be announced later .”
The late Clark was born in Kiagbodo, in the Iya region of now Delta State. He has since been a school teacher briefly before traveling abroad.
He worked with Military Governor Samuel Ogbemudia and State Head of State Yakubu Gowon between 1966 and 1975. In 1966, he was a member of the advisory committee of David Ejoor, military governor of the Midwest Province, and was appointed by the Federal Information Commissioner in 1975.
