The EFCC Economic and Financial Crime Commission’s Lagos Regional Bureau has accused 14 Filipinos and a company, Gentleman International Co., Ltd., before sitting at the Federal High Court Justice Musa Kakaki in Ikoy, Lagos.
They are: Marj Maranga, Zara Fabian, Jonalyn Mendoza, Dominique Medina, Rachelle Cabalona, Krystel Aquilesca, Caselyn Pionela, Raizza Camara, Raiizza Camara, Danica Silad, Reyna Maeeiba, Chyna Mae, Chyna Mae Samonte, Mary Grace Dela Cruz , Sevien Cire Renovilla and Rose-Ann Gonzales.
They are part of a group of 792 people arrested in Lagos on December 10, 2024, suspected of cryptocurrency investment and romantic fraud crimes, in Lagos by EFCC operators in Lagos The arrest, which was a surprise action, marked “Eagle Flush Faster.”
The defendant was arraigned on separate charges, related to cybercrime, cyber terrorism, imitation, possession of false documents and identity theft.

“You, Krystel Aquilesca, sometime in December 2024, at some point in Lagos, within the jurisdiction of this glorious court, intend to turn yourself out by keeping yourself out. , and commit a crime to deceptively impersonate “Teteel” for your employer under Section 22(2)(b) of Cyber Crime (prohibit, prevention, etc.), 22(2) of 2015 Article (b).”
They all “plead not guilty” to the charges, and then prosecutors MK Bashir, NK Ukoha and Bilkisu Buhari prayed for the court’s trial date respectively and held the defendant in the correctional center.
Justice Kakaki adjourned the matter until March 13, 2025 for trial and ordered the defendant to be remanded to the correctional center.
