People who commit economic and financial crimes, the EFCC has arrested suspected internet fraudsters in the state.
The agency reportedly identified the suspect as Olawole, who specialized in purchasing bank accounts from people on Sunday.
He was arrested by EFCC agents in the Benin Zonal Bureau.
According to the gathering, people were asked to open as many bank accounts as possible on Sunday, and he bought them from them, which he used to deceive people.
Depending on the account type, he purchased a bank account with their ATN card for about N25,000 or N50,000.
He was arrested under the guise of Forex trading using a UYI Godstime Eghosa bank account.
He pleaded guilty to the crime after being arrested on Sunday and was prosecuted immediately after the investigation was completed.
