EFCC, agent of the Lagos Bureau of Economic and Financial Crime Commission No. 1, arrested two suspects for alleged involvement in Naira abuse
A statement from the EFCC said the suspects identified as Adeoti Folake and Adewuyi Modupe were arrested in Lagos on Friday, March 21, 2025, allegedly allegedly notes by Hawking Naira.
After being arrested, the agency said that the sum of N3,850.000 (3 million, 8 million naira) and N1,600.000 (one million naira) was recovered from it, respectively.
The suspect will be prosecuted in court after the investigation is completed.
