Elon Musk announced that his artificial intelligence startup XAI will release its latest chatbot, Grok 3, on Monday, February 17. Musk calls the new model “the smartest AI on Earth” in an increasingly competitive market.
According to an article by Musk on its social media platform, the flagship AI product will debut in a demonstration at Pacific Time (0400 GMT). Ensure logical consistency by reflecting on past mistakes and reviewing data.
“Go to hone products with the team throughout the weekend so that it won’t be offline until then,” Musk wrote. The billionaire entrepreneur also served as the top spot in former U.S. President Donald Trump cuts government spending Consultant, he has been pushing the AI department’s foothold.
Musk has previously said that the Grok 3 is in its final stages of development and will be released within a few weeks. As AI continues to integrate into everyday life, Xai’s goal is to build a niche in an industry that dominates mature players like Openai’s Chatgpt.
Competition in the AI market has intensified, especially after Chinese startup DeepSeek launched low-cost, high-quality chatbots last month, challenging the U.S. dominance in AI technology. DeepSeek quickly surpassed Chatgpt in downloads on Apple’s App Store, raising concerns about global leadership changing the field.
Despite warning of the potential risks of AI to humanity, Musk actively pursues investment in the industry. Last December, XAI announced it had received $6 billion in funding from investors including U.S. venture capitalists, Chip strategist Nvidia and AMD, as well as investment funds from Saudi Arabia and Qatar. This was the initial $6 billion fundraising round in May, making Xai one of the most valuable startups in the world, although it is still smaller than Openai.
Shortly after Musk signed an open letter, Muke established XAI in July 2023, urging to stop in the development of advanced AI models. Meanwhile, according to Friday, February 14, Openai rejected an offer from Musk-led, who bought the company for $97.4 billion.
