This comes after a repeated malfunction of social media platforms on Monday, March 10.
“Well, we’re not sure what happened,” Musk told Fox Business Network Monday afternoon
“But there is a large-scale cyber attack that attempts to bring the X system to the IP address of the Ukrainian region. ”
Musk confirmed earlier in the day that X was the target of a “massive cyberattack.” The richest person in the world pointed out in an interview that social media sites are now backing up and running.
His statement came after the platform went bankrupt for users around the world. They complained about the app and website issues as early as 5:30 a.m. ET.
Musk shared many of the resources involved in hack on X, which he believes can only be a “coordination group” or a foreign job.
He did not provide any other details about the attack, which affected the app’s 600 million active monthly users.
This is in a hostile relationship between Kyiv and Washington. Last month, President Donald Trump called Ukrainian President Volodymr Zelensky a “dictator.”
Zelensky was accused by Trump and Vice President JD Vance did not want to express gratitude to the U.S. military and financial support and did not want to achieve peace at the Oval Office meeting.
He was fired from the White House and a proposed mineral agreement between Washington and Kiev has not yet been signed.
Although U.S. Republicans supported Trump’s actions and criticized Zelensky’s actions, the encounter led to opposition from Ukraine.
Afterward, Musk labeled Zelensky’s “evil” and accused him of fighting “forever war” with Russia.
Musk said at the time: “Zelensky wants a war forever, a never-ending transplanted meat grinder. It’s evil.
In October, Musk called for a ceasefire between Ukraine and Russia, adding: “We are entering World War II with another stupid decision.”
Zelensky met with Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman in Saudi Arabia on Monday.
Talks will be held between Ukrainian and U.S. officials on Tuesday, and Washington hopes to make significant progress in ending Ukraine’s war with Russia.
