An engineer tells how his younger brother was kidnapped by a organ harvester who pretended to be a policeman.
He explained that his brother was in a bolt driver’s car in Port Harcourt when the man with a rifle stopped the bolt, dragged his brother out and tried to take him to Belsal.
His brother was released only when the man checked his body and noticed the scar. When they found out that he had surgery due to kidney failure, they blackmailed him and let him go.
The brother recounted the incident on X, writing: “I just received an almost unfortunate news from Nigeria.
“When the police disguised organ harvester kidnapped my brother, his bolts riding, trying to bring him to Bayelsa
Porthcourt.
“Stopped the bolt ride and forced my brother to leave it. Hold him in his shorts and hit him with the bottom of the rifle.
“The bolt driver continues to follow, and the kidnapper places the bullet in the tire when the driver tries to cause an alarm.
“My brother’s hands were tied together and put a few slaps on their back seat of Sienna.
“They controlled his phone and scrolled his pictures.
“He had pictures of the last surgery and when they saw it they asked him what was going on there. He told them he had kidney failure and he was managing the kidneys. They said ‘So your organs didn’t work well’,’ he said yes, he’s been managing it for seven years.
“They immediately stopped the vehicle, discussed with each other and decided to let him go.
“Take his ATM card, withdraw 80k, give him 3k and his phone number and tell him to call his bolt driver to pick him up.
“My lovely brother would have been accepted and would never have been seen again if it weren’t for the surgery he had done last month.
“It’s a lesson for everyone, never think it can’t be you. It’s a guy who’s very close to home, and it’s really scary.
“We can’t say who is who is who is who is not a policeman.
“When the scene is shot than following them in Sienna, you’d better be shot.
“I thank God, my brother is safe. Let God help us all.”
