    • Social media commentator Martins Vincent Otse, known as “VeryDarkMan,” has criticized billionaire Obi Cubana.
    • Obi Cubana sparked criticism after sharing a video on Instagram.
    • In the video, Seyi Tinubu, son of President Bola Tinubu, visited Obi Kubana and handed over his appointment letter to him.

Social media commentator Martins Vincent Oates, known as “VeryDarkMan,” has publicly criticized billionaire entrepreneur Obinna Iyiegbu, popularly known as Obi Cubana, after the businessman shared a video online.

The video posted by Obi Kubana on Instagram shows President Bola Tinubu’s son Seyi Tinubu visiting him at his official residence and presenting him with a letter of appointment. The video quickly sparked reactions on social media platforms.

VeryDarkMan responded to the post, calling out Obi Cubana for his behavior, accusing him of acting like a subordinate rather than an influential figure. He claimed the businessman looked uncomfortable and sounded as if he had been forced into the meeting.

The activist expressed disappointment at the development, saying he never thought Obi Kubana would be involved in such an event. According to him, the situation was embarrassing and tarnished the businessman’s public image.

VeryDarkMan further claimed that Obi Kubana lacked grassroots political influence, insisting that he was unable to mobilize votes in his own region. He views the billionaire as an errand boy, not a power broker.

Talking about race relations, the activist believes that the Igbo challenges are not caused by Yoruba or Hausa but stem from internal issues. He accused Obi Cubana of prioritizing personal interests, which he claimed explained the businessman’s silence on Nnamdi Kanu’s continued detention.

He also noted that figures such as Sunday Igboho and Sheikh Gumi have now been released, while Kanu remains in detention. VeryDarkMan urges Obi Kubana to reconsider his choice, stressing that while political participation is a personal decision, leaders should act in the collective interest of the people.

The activist concluded by claiming that he had previously been warned not to discuss Nnamdi Kanu on social media platforms.

@unstoppablecash89: “I don’t like VDM, but he’s telling the truth on this one and it’s nothing but the truth.”

@osakwe_lagos: “You are not Burna Boy, Don Jazz and Davido boy.”

@greater7540: “This guy is more important in society than Obi Cubana, but because everyone in Nigeria is poor and they idolize the rich, we can say they don’t see it from them, VDM is the best.”
