Former Ekiti Governor Ayodele Fayose asserted that the crisis (PDP) within the Democratic people was unfortunate and regrettable.
Naija News The report said that in an interview on channel TV politics on Friday, April 18, 2025, Fioz warned that the PDP could completely collapse without emergency reconciliation measures.
Fayose lamented the internal chaos of PDP, accusing long-standing unresolved issues, personal interests and lack of leadership in the current state.
While emphasizing the need for collective efforts to rebuild the party, Fayose added that bringing this party to a dream destination only takes a miracle.
He said “The situation in the Party is unfortunate and regrettable. This issue has not begun today. The Party has failed to initiate any meaningful reconciliation or fence. Everyone is fighting for their own good – to fight for strength, the power of strength.
“When you fall on metal, may God save your life. Everyone is defending their tea, cups and their place. You don’t make any impact when you sweep with a broom.
“It’s not a fact, it’s not going well with PDP. Everything is not good, it only takes a miracle to bring this party to the dream destination.”
