    • Nollywood actress Oluwakemisola Apesin, also known as Ke, faces accusations of receiving sexual favors to advance her career.
    • She responded to the claims on Instagram and firmly denied them.
    • Kemiti emphasizes that her success is the result of hard work and dedication.

Nollywood actress Oluwakemisola Apesin popularly known as Kemity has reacted to allegations that she used sexual favors to climb the film industry ladder.

The actress took to her Instagram page to categorically refute the claims, saying her achievements are purely the result of dedication and hard work.

Kemiti reflected on her journey in Nollywood by sharing throwback photos and telling how she started her career. According to her, she has never traded her body for a role or opportunity, stressing that every milestone she has achieved has been achieved through honest work.

Before fully venturing into showbiz, she revealed that she ran two wine shops and also worked as a receptionist at the Master Hotel in Ayobo. She explained that these jobs helped her remain financially independent while pursuing her dreams in the film industry.

The actress added that she spent time building herself up by learning different skills, including acting and makeup artistry. These abilities not only enhance her skills but also allow her to contribute to film production and earn a living.

Kemiti insists that her progress in Nollywood has been shaped by discipline, resilience and the strong values instilled in her by her family.

Now a proud mother of two daughters, she advises aspiring actresses not to be swayed by shortcuts or empty promises. She encourages them to believe in their talents and be consistent, emphasizing that hard work and determination are enough to achieve success.

She wrote: “Thinking back to Thursday, something I need to solemnly clarify. No one should let anyone lie to them because of the noise on social media. I have never used my body to get a movie role. I have never slept with anyone to appear in any movie.

“I never traded sex for opportunity. Before I met my boss, I had opened two liquor stores selling liquor.

“I have always worked for my money. I am a mother. I have two daughters and I am raising and nurturing them with dignity and strong values. I cannot build their future on dirty things. Everything I have today is my sweat. Everything I have achieved is hard work and the grace of God.”
