Woojin started out as a nine-member group and left Stray Kids for personal reasons that were not revealed in October 2019. Meanwhile, the group released their extended game mixtape in January 2018 and officially debuted on March 25 I’m not.
Founded in 2017, Stray Kids, or the most famous SKZ, is expected to be one of South Korea’s most promising Boybands. This year, SKZ was nominated in multiple awards and won the new Hallyu Rookie Award in 2018.
This boy band was created by JYP Entertainment through a reality show of the same name. Made of 9 handsome boys, mostly born in the late 1990s or early 1900s, stray children steal people’s hearts with their charm.

The history of stray children
2017-2018: Through reality show, debut and I am series
In August 2017, JYP Entertainment (Jype) officially announced the agency’s new reality survival program to launch the first project of male idols. More details and trailers were released over the next two months, including the show’s champion Street Children.
Prior to its October 17 premiere, Jype released the first music video of Stray Kids, one of which was titled “Hellevator” and later released as a digital single. Two members of Lee New and Felix were eliminated from the group, but all nine members ended up in the final lineup.
With the launch of the official Stray Kids website, Jype announced the release of the band’s former playback script (EP) titled Mix-tape. It contains seven tracks written by members, including “Hellevator” and other songs they played during the show.
The EP and its second track, “Beware”, were released on January 8, 2018, while the EP’s performance video was uploaded online a week later. It ranked second on the world album charts of Gaon’s album Chart and Billboard.
On March 5, Jype announced the band’s debut, titled Stray Kids Umveil (Op. 01: I’m not), which took place on March 25 at Jangechung Arena. The next day, their EP was officially debuted the next day.
I’m not Ranked fourth on Gaon’s album chart and sold more than 54,000 physical copies in March.
Stray Kids performed at KCON Japan 2018 on April 14, the organization’s first overseas performance since its debut.
On July 12, Jype announced the group’s second presentation, titled “Stray Kids Umveil” (Op. 02: Who am I), and the exhibition will be held on August 5 at the Grand Peace Palace at Kyung Hee University. Their second EP called Who I am, and the title track “My Pace” released the next day
On October 4, Jype announced the band’s third showcase, titled Stray Kids Umveil (ibid. 03: I am you), the show was held in the Olympic Hall on October 21, followed by the release of the next day’s new album EP I Am You Am You.

2019 – Prerequisite: Tour, key Series and Woojin’s departure
On March 5, Jype announced the organization’s third comeback on March 25, 2019, and released its fourth match in the first anniversary of the organization’s debut.
The group won their first musical performance victory on April 4 Countdown M
The album’s lead single “Miroh”. On June 19, the band released their first special album, along with the title track “Side Effects” between the American Leg and the First World Tour.
Stray Kids released a digital single called “Double Knot” on October 9 and announced their District 9 Unlock World Tour from November 23 to 24 at the Olympic Hall in Seoul, South Korea, for their fifth extension Clay: Weightliftingoriginally announced on November 25th. Clay: Weightlifting The result was postponed to December 9.
On November 13, the group released a music video of “Astronauts”, their first one without Woojin, is also an eight-person group. On December 9, the street children released CLE: Levanter.
Different recognition of wandering children
Before the official street children debut, nine members were selected as the new model for the 2018 Jambangee Jeans, which was announced on February 13, with the brand’s spring collection announced. On June 26, they were selected as the exclusive model for the Ivy Club for the fall semester of 2018.
On July 19, they received their first set of CFs with Minute Maid Plassling. Five days after their first CF, they were selected as the promotional model for the CGV “Youth Brand Festival” from July 24 to August 31.
It was announced on October 16 in Lotte Notable Notable Official Officials and Instagram Account, and on June 17, 2019, Stray Kids became a new model for the Korean sportswear brand “Pro-Specs”, which was selected as the latest ambassador of the Talk Talk Korea competition in 2019 and was appointed as the Honorary Ambassador of the South Korean Honorary Ambassador.
