Facebook users warn that any extremely kind woman who enjoys the soon-to-be marriage Igbo men’s family has married the black sheep of the family.
Such actions, she said, show that the family was tired of their Efulefu (useless) son and they were happy to hand him over to that woman.
Facebook user named Ijeoma Chinonyerem wrote: If you are dating an Igbo person, especially his family, especially his mother, *very* good, please know you are marrying a family member efulefu, they want you to do it And bear the burden. You are their Ovu Ngwongwo (burden bearer).
“Extreme kindness and 24-hour call from all the family, calling you my love and Blablabla so you won’t change your mind.
“They know you’re price. DemDon Taya for their Efulefu son and hope he’s someone else’s headache. So they go to do the Pamper and you’re making you not change your mind.
