Christopher Crisona, a former contestant in Steve Harvey’s first season as a “family hatred” player, was arrested and charged with multiple felony counts related to child S3xual abuse.
Crisona and John Taggart’s father were detained for abuse allegations at St. Thomas the Apostle School in Wilmington, Delaware.
The Delaware Attorney General’s Office said Crisona was a year and a half as a teacher at school and was removed from office after a student complaint. Crisona, 57, and Taggart, now 80, allegedly abused victims in the seventh and eighth grades.
Crisona, currently working as an elementary school teacher in Florida, has been charged with illegal S3xual contact, illegal S3xual interactions, illegal sexual penetration and ongoing abuse of children.
Delaware Attorney General Kathy Jennings described the case as a case that “gets us up at night” but also gives a commitment to justice. She noted that the indictment accused “a pattern of serious abuse by two adults on the teenager in a position of trust” and praised the law enforcement officers involved in the investigation.
Crisona had previously appeared in “Family Hate” with his family in 2010, entering the “Fast Money” round, but was away from a $20,000 cash reward.
So far, people trying to reach the vicinity of Crisona have not been successful in comments.
