    • A video showing the arrival of the body of Afrofuji singer Destiny Boy in Ayetoro has caused heartbreak and shock among fans.
    • The disturbing video sparked emotional reactions online, with many criticizing the person who recorded the moment.
    • The singer’s death remains rife with unconfirmed rumors, while fans and community members continue to mourn the passing of the 22-year-old entertainer who had a thriving career.

A video showing the body of late Nigerian Afrofuji singer Afiz Adesina, popularly known as Destiny Boy, has surfaced online, sparking shock and emotional reactions from fans.

The video captured the 22-year-old singer lying motionless with wool stuffed in her nostrils as onlookers gathered after being taken off a white bus in Ayetoro. Many fans expressed disbelief, while others condemned the filming and broadcasting of such a sensitive moment.

The video quickly went viral, intensifying the grief and reigniting speculation about the cause of his death. Rumors ranging from a sudden collapse to possible poisoning and involvement in rituals have circulated online but have yet to be officially confirmed.

Destiny Boy’s death is especially painful for fans because he recently welcomed his first child. As tributes continue to pour in, his family has yet to make a formal statement regarding funeral arrangements.

In other news… Reality TV star Josephine Ijioma Otabor, popularly known as Phyna, has dismissed claims that she is yet to receive the £100m grand prize for winning the 2022 Big Brother Naija reality show.

Fina had earlier publicly criticized the organizers of the show in 2023, claiming that she had not received all awards related to her victory. After multiple responses from her team and BBNaija organizers, the issue gradually disappeared from public discussion, leading many fans to believe it had been resolved.

However, the controversy resurfaced after a recent video circulated online in which Fina allegedly stated that she had yet to receive her winnings.

Fina clarified in response to the viral video during a recent Twitch stream that the video was maliciously edited to distort her remarks.

“They keep editing my videos. I never said I have not received my N100 million yet. I was just talking to people who asked me if the N100 million has been completed,” she said.

She revealed that the edited video nearly sparked a legal battle between her and the show’s organizers, who were reportedly unhappy with her account.

According to Fina, she had to explain to organizers that the clip was taken out of context and urged them to view the full stream on Twitch to confirm her genuine comments.

The reality star also warned bloggers not to manipulate her videos and threatened legal action against anyone who might get her in trouble.
